Prior to commencement of groundwater monitoring data collection, U1.2: a) undertake a physical review of the Mackas Sand groundwater monitoring bores to assess the integrity of the bores for such things as potential for leakage of surface water within the bore annulus and any other part of the bore that may need repair to ensure its integrity; b) undertake repairs to the bores where identified in a).
Undertake groundwater monitoring data collection in accordance with "RE: Review and Update of the Maximum Extraction Depth Map for the Mackas Sand Project (PA 08_0142)", 2.0 Conclusions and Recommendations, your reference: 1646_DPIE_MEDM_Review211203, by Robert McKenzie, Director Mackas Sandy Pty Limited, 17 December 2021. a) For a minimum six-month period, commencing 1 December 2022, increase the frequency of groundwater level monitoring by way of installation of groundwater level loggers in at least three monitoring bores to monitor groundwater levels at hourly intervals. b) After six months of additional data collection, undertake a further review of the data and submit your data review to the EPA by 31 August 2023. You may submit this review to epa.northopsregional@epa.nsw.gov.au. c) After the data review in b) update the existing groundwater model and Maximum Extraction Depth Map and provide the EPA with a copy, which may be in a report form, by 31 October 2023, to epa.northopsregional@epa.nsw.gov.au.
